I’ve been holding off on this post because I was waiting for “the haze” to come back on my headlights like all the other times I’ve had them restored before.. but when Shaw says that his restoration isn’t like everyone else’s, he’s not kidding. This is
one year after I got them done and they look better than the first day I got the car! I would HIGHLY recommend getting your lights done with them.

Shaw stopped by our house to work on my bf’s Mercedes headlight as it was out. Luckily, Shaw had enough time to work on my 07 Scion tC that had terrible aftermarket headlights.

He examined my car, gave his honest opinions with options of what services he can provide from budget friendly to maximized efficiency. Even while providing these options, he recommended the best solutions regardless of the pricing. He was very respectful when it came to my budget.
During the service, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. He told us every detail step to step so we were aware of the process. He replaced both of my fog lights and high beam lights. After that he removed the oxidation off my yellow nasty headlights. He provide the BEST service and jokes (haha). He even went above and beyond fixing my crooked front license plate.
I had such a wonderful time seeing him in action and I am very VERY happy with the results. Tested the lights for both cars that night and it was *chefs kiss*. From before where I needed to use my high beams to view the night road (and it was still horribly lit) to my new visible and clear working headlights (not needing the high beam anymore)!!! I have already recommended Shaw to my friends and family and I would recommend whoever reading this to. 🙂

I write very few reviews, but I am always happy to write one for superior service. One of our headlights on our 2011 Prius was basically useless. You couldn’t see any light from it at night and we actually got flagged down for a headlight being out even though the
bulb was recently (within 12 months) replaced. Shaw is a professional, both acting like one and servicing as one, and I would highly recommend his services. Great value on both the restoration and also replacing our bulbs and even gave us a nice deal on new daytime lights as well. Our headlights are better than they’ve ever been and would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

The cost was a little bit more than I expected but that’s because he did more work than I expected! I’m talking the whole light system rewired & even helped fixed the head lights which would have cost me way more somewhere else. I was literally paying him $200 less

I don’t write reviews that often, but I felt compelled to in this case given the incredible service and results provided by Vivid. They are amazingly … but you can judge for yourself with the photos. They took a decade of oxidation off my headlights to the point that they
look new again – and at a very reasonable price which is far less than new headlights. I could not recommend them any more favorably.

Can’t recommend anyone higher than Shaw at Vivid Headlights. He took my ’15 BMW 328 with the weak, yellow halogens and upgraded them to HID low beams and LED fogs. The difference is amazing, cutoff good (no blinding anyone), and he did it the proper
safe way. What I mean is that he did not “code out” signals between the computer and the light, but rather added proper resistors on top of the existing wiring. This is great because it safer (coding out mission critical things like headlights is a liability for the owner of the vehicle), and if I ever need to revert back to original, he did not rip out any original wiring (simple to undue, if needed). Shaw is very ethical and trustworthy, not skimping on cheaper components- after original idea was deemed not optimal, he upgraded me to better components and kept my costs the same. Really appreciate the work, and recommend Shaw highly!

Wonderful service! I had one headlight out and the other one was almost out. I called Vivid headlights and Shaw was more than helpful. He was at my work in 30 minutes, spent a hour on my car changing the bulbs, fixing the headlights, and even fixed some
screws for me and I am so thankful. He explained everything to me, which normally I don’t get on car services being a girl. I will recommend him to anyone who needs headlight service and can’t thank him enough!

I wish I had my before and after photos to show you all – I’m still amazed at the transformation. I meant to write this review a year ago and I’m almost glad I didn’t because I surely would have forgotten to update it. It’s been an entire year since I had my
headlights restored and they’re still as beautiful as ever!
Normally when you get them restored, they end up turning yellow or foggy again within 3-6 months (or 8-10 if you’re lucky). Not the case here!!! There isn’t a single sign of the work fading – they are PERFECT. I highly recommend having this done to your headlights if they don’t look brand new anymore (especially if you park your car in the driveway/outside like I do).
