H3 Hummer
This build has all elements that make an upgrade challenging. From fitment to electrical. The upgrades included all front end lights, including Headlights, Turn signal, Sidemarker, and Fog lights. Diode dynamics fog lights come with amber DRL function that can be wired to the turn signal or DRL.
Electrica
All modern upgraded LED headlights come with two positive wires one for high beam and another for low beam, with a single negative. In the case of few vehicles including the hummer, and older Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle lighting operates with two negatives and a single source of power. The vehicle switch is installed on the negative instead of breaking the positive to activate the light. Here a relay system was installed to convert the double negative to double positive. This is necessary with vehicles that use double filament in halogen bulbs for high and low beams +like 9003-9007-9008
H3 Hummer Custom LED Lighting
Headlights
The sidemarker and the turn signal were vehicle specific and plug and play. For the headlights there are no vehicle specific parts. The best option was a 7inch Morimoto round BI LED headlights. We used a custom bracket to fit the headlights and painted it black to match.
Fog Lights
For the fog lights we chose Diode dynamics. These fog lights are powerful but much smaller than the OEM large round fog lights. We used a 3D printed bracket to fit them in the body as if they were original part.
