- We heat, or use a sonic cutter to cut and separate the lens from the housing.
- Unlike most shops, we fully remove the factor Perma-Seal or butyl, cleaning the ridge down to bare plastic to ensure a tight, leak-proof fit.
Step 2
Surface Prep & Residue Removal
- We then use specialized solvents to eliminate all residue in the ridge, ensuring a clean, leak poof bond with the new seal.
Step 3
Premium Butyl Seal for Long-Term Protection
- We reseal the lens with factory-grade butyl, providing strong, weather resistant protection against moisture and fogging.
Step 4
Designed for Future Repairs
- Whenever possible we use multiuse type of butyl that allows the headlight to be reopened cleanly, if future upgrades or repairs are needed—saving you time and money in the long run.
Taillight Lens Replacement & Customization
Taillight lens replacement requires a different approach. Many taillights are permanently sealed or are too fragile for heat separation. When needed, we use precision sonic cutter to safely open them.
